West Coast National Park / Langebaan Lagoon

This park is set in an area rich in various fauna and flora. Just in land from the secluded harbour of Saldana Bay one finds the Langebaan Lagoon, focal point of the West Coast National Park. The visitors are able to view thousands of sea birds and during the spring months the park is filled with a tapestry of multi coloured flowers.


One of the last traditional fishing villages on the west coast and most certainly the most romantic and peaceful places on the scenic West Coast shore line. Paternoster offers many activities: sea kayaking, whale, dolphin,penguin and seal watching and walks along sandy beaches. Enjoy a seafood lunch at Voorstrand Restaurant situated on the beach. Known as the heart of the Whale Route, this seaside resort in Walker Bay offers the best land based whale watching in the world. Visitors from August to the end of September can view these awesome creatures as they mate and calve in the protected waters of the bay.

Cape Agulhas

Situated in the Overberg area of the cape, Agulhas is geographically the most southern point of South Africa. A scenic drive will take you to Arniston where you will discover a fishing village dating back to the nineteenth century. Nestling in this bay is the famous Arniston hotel, a popular lunch venue, overlooking the turquoise sea. Take a dirt road through to the lovely Pearly beach.


Situated on the famous Route 62 the wild life and natural scenery has inspired many artists visiting and living in Montagu. This quiet and picturesque town is surrounded by the magnificent panorama of the Langeberg. Montagu is famous for it’s mountain scenery, hiking trails and Muscadel wine.
